Scenic meets history: Cabrillo National Monument

Cabrillo National Monument is located at the southern tip of the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego and offers incredible outdoor recreation. Hike the 2-mile Bayside Trail with amazing views of the bay and city skyline. Explore the relaxing tidepool trail. Experience the annual migration of the Pacific Gray Whale as these majestic mammals pass by the park from December through February. Check out the Old Point Loma Lighthouse. It’s one of the original eight lighthouses on the West Coast, restored and refurnished to reflect what life was like in the 1800s, and the highest point in the park. This is a wonderful and popular place to enjoy nature at its best. CLICK HERE for more information.
